or the record, a cocotazo has nothing to do with coconuts. Instead, a cocotazo is a disciplanary blow in the coconut (head) with the knuckles of (probably) your (parent's or grandparent's or sibling's) fingers. It is a very effective blow, especially when given to children.
We used this name because we knew that Dominicans would laugh and tourist would ask what it means. So it is the perfect conversation starter!
